Valia...

Hmmm... After reading the title "Valia...", many of you must be thinking, what's this "Valia"? Perhaps you may get thought of the famous robber "Valio Lutaro", who later turned to sage Valmiki and wrote a great hindu scripture "The Ramayan", but it's nothing to do with that.
So, first of all let me introduce "Valia"; "It is a small town, actually taluka(part of district) of district Bharuch in south part of one of the most developing state of the India; Gujarat. It is just a village like other lacs of villages of India.
But why I am writing blog on particular this village? Because this is the village, where one of the WORST engineering college (infrastructure wise, or education wise or take any other parameter on which you can rate any college!) "Valia Institute of Technology"(VIT), where I and many like me (who could not get admission in other good engineering colleges of Gujarat! ;-) ) became engineers, better I use the word "WARRIOR" instead of engineer. After reading this, all "Valians" must be laughing. But you know what, I believe whatever I learned in Valia, I would not learn any best college of Gujarat ever. The word "Valian", I am using because I really believe that who passed out of valia, can study and pass in any damn best college in the world! Perhaps, you must be thinking, "kuch jyada bol diya maine!". No, I really believe that. In any good college, you get good  education, good infrastructure, good mentors, good environment to study and you may become scholars, what's big deal in that? But here each valian studies by their own, keep some of rare good lecturer beside, and here it is not end. The most important part is, VIT belongs to the "Veer Narmad South Gujarat University"(SGU), where if you pass without getting any ATKT, you are the ranker! :-)
I still remember my 3rd semester's result, as I was DtoD student, it was my first exam result in SGU, I got four ATKTs! That was first time, I tried to know full form of ATKT(Allow To Keep Term)! But you know what, still I was smiling and not that much ashamed of myself as there were many carrying six and even seven ATKTs out of just six subjects (six theory + one practical = 7)!!!!! "Hai na kamaal"... Now you must got a clear vision why I use the word warrior! :-)

Keep studies apart, there was nothing like college management, and there was no support what so ever by college management to organize any damn curricular activities! The "Valians", who take initiative to organize annual function or cricket tournament or days or navaratri garba, to make college life colorful and interesting. Here we learned, how to get things done without any real support!
I had never traveled in the Jeep before, hanging with other 12 people and 17 other seating in the same jeep! lolzzz... I learned to adjust with smile on face with the situation and people when you do not have many options!

Perhaps, we would never learn such things if we could get into good college where college bus service is available. So I love Valia because it gave me opportunity to learn a lot and lot many things which I could never learn by staying in my comfort zone. Valia really stretched my limits, got me out of my comfort zone and gave me confidence and strength to fight against all bad things. Most of valians must be thinking like, valia has just spoiled their lives. I am not sure about that. But there must be many many valians must be cheering that part of life as a golden part!

Valia was the best part of my life. What a life it was!

It is time to ACT now!

Problems all around the world!

Bomb blast, heavy rain and flood, terrorism, heavy snow fall, drought, sucide, killing animals, cutting trees, war and lot more! Yeah, that's what I watch, hear or read everyday and every time, I switch on TV, or in news paper! Some bad news on all the news channels and that too all the time!!!

But now we are very much habituated to all these, am I right? So, we never even think about any damn solution to all these problems! And why should we? Most of the time, the particular problem is not affecting us directly! So let it be! Even if someone discuss about this, we say, "Govt is not doing its work or intelligence agencies are not doing their work properly!" or we say, "Relax man, just take a chill-pill dude!"

But I am telling you guys, this is not the time to take any chill-pill dude! It is time to act now!

If some problem comes to us or our dear ones, what do we do? We think of some solution to that problem. Isn't it? Don't you think we should take little responsibility and think just a bit more about the bad things are happening around the world?

Today, whole world is suffering from all kind of different problems whether they are human made or natural (that is too somehow because of humans only like you and me)! From past few days or months, I really feel hurt when I read or watch or hear about all these problems! That very moment, I start thinking what can be done to this issue? Can I do something which can help to solve this issue? Every time I think in different directions and I check its feasibility in this world. But you know, every time I come to one conclusion to all the problems, and that is, "Enrich Human Values"!

People have really forgotten human values. If one will understand human values, he/she will take care of this environment or he/she will never think to kill someone or him/her self!

Just taking care of environment itself, take care of many problems. One way you will help to stop global warming. I am just thinking, if at least 20% of population of world will become aware about environmental issues, a lot can be done.
Every one should really start thinking about the problems around us with a bit sense of responsibility and sensitivity, and then we can definitely find solutions to these problems!

I really believe, this is the only solution to all human problems!
Enrich Human Values!

Wake up Indian young guns, wake up...

Today 22nd October, 2009, three state’s election result declared - Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh and Haryana- Congress won in all the states!

Strange, really very strange! I was just reading the debate on this topic on "Faceboook"! I read almost all comments and found more than 80% people wrote against congress!

Now you must be thinking that, how congress is doing so good in all recent elections? The thing is, all the comments I read was written by all youngsters or people below 50 and all from different cities of the India! Now you see, people from urban areas are not using their VOTE. If they would have gone for voting, this result could not be in favour of Congress! So who is voting for congress? All rural area people, whom congress can easily make fool to vote for them by giving them BRIBE, and these people easily come into Congresses talks because they are uneducated! and some from urban area, they do not think in broad manner, and moreover there is already dirty politics being played by Congress, which I already discussed in my previous blog.

I do not understand. I found more than 80% comments against congress... then how this party is winning?
Lets look at past. Everyone knows congress ruled from 1947 to1977 and again 1980 to 1989 and again 1990 to 1996... so after independence till 1996, 46 years congress has ruled! Everyone knows, how much India has progressed in those 46 years and how much India has progressed in last ten years! So the thing is, till the time congress has no competition, NO PROGRESS happened! All congresses enjoyed their positions and made their pockets heavy and last ten years, India got global identity and progressed like anything in all areas! And suddenly congress waked up and again came in to power by playing dirty politics!

Wake up Indian young guns, wake up...
GO -- VOTE -- Vote for progress, we did in last 10 years; not for those 46 years!

College days!

I know, after reading the title "College Days!", most of us are feeling sense of happiness and joy and satisfaction at deep in our heart for that beautiful life... Probably now there is big smile on your face... Just a thought of college is enough to turn us on!

Yeah, those days were amazing and beautiful and probably BEST days of everyone's life. There were a unlimited fun and joy and love and fights and "masti" and "hungama" with titbit of study with everyone dreaming of graduation 'successfully' one fine day.

We all think like, we are in college now and we are enough mature to understand the reality of world, life and all relations, but till I believe, there is bit of maturity and still more innocency in us. Most of us never know, when are we going to get so attached with our 'best' friend that you can't bear to get apart and we fall in one beautiful feeling called 'Love'.

In context of love, everyone of us might be coming under one of this category; "We are here to make girlfriend/boyfriends" or "We are here just to make best and good friends" or "No opposite sex friend", and I believe most of people fall in first two categories, fall in love and decide to get marry to their love one during or after college days. Here I remember the slogan of super hit hindi movie "Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na". It says "So when do you know it's love?". So it happens with us too! Then struggle to make you parents and society understand and so on...

Whenever I feel a bit down, I switch on my laptop and watch College days photos and videos and cheris those moments. There is nothing else to make me happy!

If we get a chance to go back to past, then I am sure, we all will love to live that wonderful life again and again.

Ohhh... it's meeting time! Bbye for now! ;-)

Need to have more respect to our religion!

I believe in H. H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Once I had been to his Bangalore ashram. We call him Guruji with love. Guruji asked one simple question that day, "How many of us have read the Gita?" There were 3500 to 4000 people were seating, unfortunately very few people raised their hands! Then Guruji made us understand, why should we read the Gita? From that day I started reading Gita.

Actually Hindu people do not have enough respect towards their religion. We should see how Muslim or Christian people's respect and commitment to their religion. Most of all of them have read the Quran or The Bible at least once. It is really very nice thing. I appreciate them. They are really respecting Allah and Jesus Christ, and they do read the Quran and the bible often.

One more thing, I noticed, most of Hindu people often make joke on Hindu god or goddess. Many times I saw people play a drama and joke on The Ramayana or The Mahabharata, to make people laugh. I never saw any Muslim or Christian people making a joke on Allah or Jesus. What a great respect they have for God! And we, Hindus, often take God’s name as a Joke! We should learn from Muslims and Christians.

Need to have more respect to this great religion. In fact everyone should have respect for all religions. Don't make joke out of it!

What can you do for India?

First of all Happy Independence Day to all...

On this Independece day, I believe, we all should start doing at least something... may be tiny thing, to improve our nation rather than complaining about politicians and infrastrucutre and other things... Just a small thing, it'll surely help to improve our nation... whatever it may be, help slum kid to get education or give promise to yourself to vote in next election or plant some tree... something which can help our India to be best place in the world...

Love you India...
